At the time of writing, local resources listed are confined to South-West England but we hope to expand this if we can work with other areas. See the general resources below for ways of finding help in your area for the whole UK.
Kooth online counselling and resources for children and young people. Log in on a computer or smartphone and chat to a counsellor in the afternoons and evenings. There are also blogs and articles. Only accessible for 10-18 year olds. Good for those that either don’t want or can’t afford face to face counselling. Free but you need to create a log in for confidentiality. www.Kooth.com
Finding information on local resources: Youth Wellbeing Directory. Will find any mental health support organisations in your area using your postcode and show it to you on google maps. You can also search resources by key words.
Relate counselling is available in many areas for children and young people (as well as couples and families) Their website has a good video on "How can counselling help me?" with two stories of young people who were helped. You can also have an online chat and find your nearerst centre

Finding private counselling in your area: lists private counsellors who all have a BACP diploma with a description of where they work and types of therapy.
Brook clinics offer mental health support as well as sexual health advice all over the country for under 25's .You can find your nearest clinic and find out more about what's on offer here https://www.brook.org.uk
