Looking for help online can be difficult and it often takes a lot of searching to find something useful. We’ve done all the hard work and found some of the best websites for you. No fake news, no influencers, no hidden agenda; just reliable information and support.
Find helplines, chat support, read real-life stories and advice from other young people who have struggled with their mental health or with family and relationship problems.
There are many more great websites if you’re looking for something more specific, for example, self-harm, eating disorders or bullying – just look in the topic section to find them.

ChildLineNot just for children and not just a helpline! An amazing website for everyone up to 19 years. Get support, read advice or check out the message boards. | |
| KoothOnline counselling with trained counsellors for 10-18 years for free. You need to create a log-in for confidentiality. Kooth also have an online forum for discussion where you can just read or contribute.

| Off The RecordOnline workshops and activities for young people aged 10-25 years from yoga to book clubs, as well as mentoring and activism. There are self-harm support groups and they also have an LGBTQ+ activist and support group called Freedom Youth. Bristol and North Somerset-based but plenty of online resources wherever you live.
